This policy explains what personal information Lakeside & Pine (lakesideandpine.ca) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Email sign-ups: if you join our newsletter, we collect your email address. Our email service, Kit, stores and sends these emails for us.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, device type, general location). It uses cookies.
- Affiliate links: when you click an affiliate link, the retailer or its affiliate network may set cookies to credit us for a purchase.
- Contact: if you email us, we keep your message and email address to reply.
How we use it

- To understand which content is useful and improve the site

Who we share it with
Only service providers that help run the site: our web host (Kinsta), email service (Kit), analytics (Google) and affiliate networks. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email
- Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us
- Block or delete cookies through your browser settings
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe, and other information only as long as needed for the purposes above.
